1. Try to reserve the chef early

   Luxe Oasis offers not just a cook but professional culinary chefs that get booked out in advance, so try to put your request in at least a week in advance, especially for a special occasion. However, last minute requests can often be accommodated, so don’t hesitate to try and see if we can still accept your request.

2. Give the chef creative freedom on the menu

   Chefs are creatives at heart. We have found that you get the best results when you give them a fairly free rein to propose a menu. So let us know you want vegetarian or have a craving for oxtail, but don’t give the chef your grandma’s recipe.

3. Have a quick talk when chef arrives to agree on how the experience will run

   Often people love to have the chef explain the dishes being served at the table or even be involved with the cooking. Some people want a dish served like a photo they saw. Whatever it is, the key is to talk about it beforehand so the Chef can successfully deliver the experience.

4. Be realistic and fair with your price expectations
   Hiring a Private Chef to cook only for you is a very special experience. Remember the Chef needs to cover the cost of not only ingredients but also their time to go shopping, drive to you, cook, serve and clean up. Please be respectful of the time and effort they will need to put in to your experience.
   

• A 50% deposit is required to confirm your Private Chef Experience.

• The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to your scheduled check-in.

• Cancellations made 72 hours or more before your scheduled check-in will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations made 24–71 hours before your scheduled check-in are subject to a 25% cancellation fee (calculated from the total chef experience booking).

• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled check-in.

Once groceries or specialty ingredients have been purchased for your reservation, those costs may become non-refundable, even if the cancellation falls within the standard cancellation period.

Dietary Requests

Dietary restrictions, allergies, and menu modifications should be communicated at least 72 hours before check-in. While every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, availability of certain ingredients may vary.

Menu Availability

Menus are subject to seasonal ingredient availability. If a particular ingredient is unavailable, a comparable premium substitute may be offered.
