Robert

Born and raised in Jamaica, Robert migrated to the US and settled in New York City where in 2015 he joined Airbnb and created his first listing Suite Oasis. He quickly achieved and maintained Superhost status by providing warm hospitality and a clean and cozy space for his guest. A few years later he launched his second listing Suite Luxe. Both listings combined, Robert has over 500 reviews and hosted over 700 guests.

In 2022 Robert decided on creating a third Vacation rental and had the choice between Miami or Jamaica and ultimately decided to invest in his home country so he can share the beauty, culture, adventures and amazing food the island has to offer while supporting local businesses and providing income opportunity. In early 2023 he launched Luxe Oasis in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. His vision behind Luxe Oasis is to offer guests not just a stay: but an experience, where you are surrounded by lush, landscaped garden throughout your stay.

Carefully selected materials, unique design, and - above all - great service and hospitality. Guests will have the choice of enhancing their experience with special added options such as custom itineraries and tailored services like personal chef, massage therapist, private transport & driver or even a stocked refrigerator and pantry with your favorite groceries are some of the featured add-ons.   • "If you choose to spend sometime in Ocho Rios this is the spot. It's convenient to town and all the attractions (The Blue Hole, Dunn's River Falls and White River Rafting) but also provides a retreat up at the top of the hill for absolute Zenlike peace. Oh and the rooftop views from the only Hot Tub in the area aren't bad either. We took advantage of Robert's access to local chefs for 2 meals that were by far the best food we had all week. We also utilized a chaparone for our girls to go out on the town and enjoy the local nightlife. Can't say enough about the place and the Host!"

  • "When in Jamaica, I normally stay at luxury resorts for comfort and security. Robert provided me with both during my 5 nights in Ocho Rios. He spared no expense when decorating this space.All of the modern touches from the furniture selection and art pieces give you all the “feels” of a luxurious setting. Jamaica’s lush foliage and partial caribbean sea views from the roof top jacuzzi were exceedingly beautiful. Robert thought about the small incidentals we sometimes forget as women traveling.Need a sleeping mask, small sewing kit,or dark make up towel? All of these items were provided during my stay. It’s very close to the town centre in Ocho Rios.You will need a vehicle or a driver while staying at this property. As an LGBT couple we felt welcomed and safe during our stay. I can't comment on the other bedrooms available as we only booked the one bedroom option.This will be my will be my go property for Ocho Rios."
